Red Lion 708FXE2-SC-15 is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust and complex network environments. It supports SNMP v1, v2, and v3 along with Web Browser Management for ease of configuration and monitoring. The switch features N-Ring Technology ensuring a quick network recovery time of 30ms, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology for enhanced network reliability, and N-View Monitoring Technology for real-time network status. It is compatible with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging and offers IGMP Auto Configuration, 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port VLAN, 802.1p QoS, Port QoS, Port Trunking, and Port Mirroring for comprehensive network management. The switch supports 802.1d, 802.1w, and 802.1D RSTP for network resilience, along with a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, Option 61, and IP Fallback for efficient network address configuration. It provides Local Port IP Addressing, 802.1AB-2005 LLDP for device discovery, and MAC Address Based Filtering for port security. The switch has configurable alarm output contacts, Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts rated for 10-30Vdc, and includes 6 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) and 2 x Fiber optic SC connectors (single-mode, 100BaseFX) supporting up to 15km rated optical fiber. It operates within a temperature range of -40 to +85°C, features ESD and Surge protection on power inputs, and is housed in a metallic case suitable for DIN rail mounting. The 708FXE2-SC-15 is part of the N-Tron 700 series, designed for 8-port network configurations.
