Red Lion 708FX2-ST is an industrial managed Ethernet switch designed for robust networking solutions. It supports SNMP v1, v2, and v3 along with Web Browser Management for comprehensive device oversight. The switch features N-Ring Technology ensuring a rapid 30ms healing time for network recovery, N-Link Redundant Ring Technology for enhanced network reliability, and N-View Monitoring Technology for real-time network status updates. It is compatible with EtherNet/IP CIP Messaging and offers web configuration for ease of use. The 708FX2-ST supports IGMP Auto Configuration, 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port VLAN, 802.1p QoS, Port QoS, Port Trunking, and Port Mirroring for advanced network management. It adheres to 802.1d, 802.1w, and 802.1D RSTP standards for network resilience and includes a DHCP Server with Option 82 Relay, Option 61, and IP Fallback for dynamic network configuration. The switch enables Local Port IP Addressing, supports 802.1AB-2005 LLDP for device discovery, and ensures network security through MAC Address Based Filtering. It features configurable alarm output contacts, Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts rated for 10-30Vdc, and includes 6 x RJ45 ports (10/100BaseTX) plus 2 x Fiber optic ST connectors (multi-mode, 100BaseFX) suitable for up to 2km rated optical fiber. The device operates within a temperature range of -40 to +85°C, is protected against ESD and surge on power inputs, and is housed in a metallic case suitable for DIN rail mounting. It is designed for 8-port networking with a focus on Ethernet and includes N-Tron 700 series features for comprehensive network management and security.
