Red Lion ZGG0020C, part of the ZGG series, is an incremental encoder designed for precise motion sensing. This single-shaft incremental rotary encoder features a built-in measuring wheel and operates on a supply voltage range of 8-35Vdc. It is constructed with a rugged Aluminium housing and has a 3/8" (9.5mm) shaft diameter for shaft-mounting. The encoder is equipped with 3-wires bare end flying leads for connection and comes with a 10ft / 3m cable for extended reach. It offers a resolution of 20ppr (pulses per revolution) and can handle rotational speeds up to 6000rpm. The device is designed to withstand a maximum radial load of 15lbs and a maximum axial load of 15lbs.
